في احتفال عالمي حاشد بـ«المسرح اليوناني».. زاهي حواس يتسلم «جائزة الأمم» الإيطالية الرفيعة وسط تصفيق الآلاف

في عرس ثقافي وفني عالمي شهدته مدينة “تاورمينا” الساحرة بجزيرة صقلية الإيطالية، تُوّج عالم الآثار المصري الكبير الدكتور زاهي حواس بأعلى وأرفع جائزة تكريمية في إيطاليا وهي «جائزة الأمم» (Premio delle Nazioni)، والتي تعادل قيمتها الفنية والأدبية جوائز “الأوسكار” العالمية، وذلك في اليوبيل العشرين لتأسيسها.

واستمرت الفعاليات والاحتفالات المرافقة للجائزة على مدار ثلاثة أيام متواصلة، حظي خلالها الدكتور زاهي حواس ببرنامج مكثف؛ حيث التقى جموع الجماهير والشخصيات العامة للحديث عن مسيرته الحافلة وأبرز كشوفاته الأثرية، إلى جانب تصدره واجهة وسائل الإعلام الإيطالية والعالمية عبر تسجيل سلسلة من اللقاءات التلفزيونية والحلقات الإذاعية (بودكاست).

واختتمت الفعاليات ليلة أمس باحتفالية ضخمة احتضنها “المسرح اليوناني” الأثري الشهير، بحضور غفير تجاوز 5 آلاف مواطن وزائر توافدوا من مختلف دول العالم، في ليلة فنية استثنائية امتدت أصداؤها حتى الصباح.

وشهد حفل هذا العام تكريم كوكبة من القامات العالمية إلى جانب “حواس”، شملت فنانتين ومخرجاً وممثلاً من إيطاليا، بالإضافة إلى فنانة من دولة تركيا.

واستُهلت الاحتفالية الرسمية بقيام الفرقة الموسيقية العسكرية الإيطالية بعزف السلام الجمهوري للبلاد، وتخللت الفقرات عروض أوبرا ومقطوعات موسيقية وغنائية متميزة بمصاحبة الأوركسترا. وفي ذروة الحفل، صعد الدكتور زاهي حواس إلى منصة التتويج حيث تسلم الجائزة الرفيعة من أحد أعضاء البرلمان الإيطالي البارزين، وسط عاصفة من التصفيق الحار والتحية من الآلاف الحاضرين في المدرجات التاريخية.

وفي كلمته المؤثرة عقب تسلم الجائزة، أعرب الدكتور زاهي حواس عن فخره الشديد بهذا التكريم، قائلاً: «إن هذه الجائزة تمثل محطة بالغة الأهمية في حياتي؛ لأنها بمثابة اعتراف وتقدير عالمي لما قدمته من أعمال وعشقه الجمهور على مدار عقود».

وعبر حواس عن حبه العميق للشعب الإيطالي، مؤكداً على الروابط التاريخية والود المتبادل الذي يجمع الشعبين المصري والإيطالي، موجهاً دعوة مفتوحة لكافة الحاضرين والعالم لزيارة مصر واكتشاف كنوزها، مؤكداً بالقول: «مصر بلد الأمن والأمان».

SICILY —In a spectacular global cultural and artistic celebration held in the charming coastal city of Taormina, Sicily, the renowned Egyptian archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass was honored with Italy’s highest and most prestigious accolade, the “Nations Award” (Premio delle Nazioni). Holding an artistic and literary value akin to the international Oscars, the award celebrated its 20th anniversary milestone this year.

The accompanying festivities spanned three consecutive days, during which Dr. Hawass engaged in an intensive schedule. He met with large crowds and public figures to discuss his illustrious career and his most prominent archaeological discoveries.

The events culminated last night in a massive celebration hosted at the historic and famous “Greek Theatre.” The grand finale drew a massive crowd of over 5,000 citizens and visitors from around the world, creating an extraordinary artistic night whose echoes resonated until morning.

Alongside Dr. Hawass, this year’s ceremony honored a constellation of international luminaries, including two actresses, a director, and an actor from Italy, in addition to a prominent actress from Turkey.

The official ceremony commenced with the Italian military band playing the national anthem, followed by standout opera performances, musical arrangements, and vocal segments accompanied by a live orchestra. At the peak of the event, Dr. Zahi Hawass took the stage to receive the prestigious award from a prominent member of the Italian Parliament, triggering a thunderous standing ovation and roaring applause from the thousands gathered in the historic amphitheater.

In his moving acceptance speech, Dr. Zahi Hawass expressed his immense pride in this honor, stating: “This award represents a highly significant milestone in my life; it stands as a global recognition and appreciation for the work I have dedicated my life to, which audiences have deeply cherished over the decades.”

Dr. Hawass expressed his profound affection for the Italian people, emphasizing the deep historical ties and mutual warmth shared between Egyptians and Italians.
