JTI Egypt has successfully concluded its summer internship program, held from July through September 2026, welcoming university students from across Egypt for hands-on experience in a professional environment. The initiative reflects the JTI Egypt’s continued commitment to supporting local talent and helping students develop the skills and experience needed to pursue their professional ambitions.
As part of its commitment to contributing to the communities in which it operates, JTI Egypt seeks to strengthen the connection between academic learning and the professional world.
Through its summer internship program, the company provides students with an opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in practice, learn from experienced professionals, and gain a clearer understanding of the workplace and their chosen fields.
This year’s program welcomed students from eight academic institutions: The University of Hertfordshire, Canadian International College (CIC), Misr International University (MIU), the British University in Egypt (BUE), Mansoura National University, Ain Shams University, Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, and Cairo University.
Representing a diverse range of disciplines, including Artificial Intelligence, Communication and Electronics Engineering, Business Informatics, Mass Communication, Mechatronics, Production and Design Mechanical Engineering, Energy Mechanical Power Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, and Psychology, the interns brought varied perspectives and academic expertise to their respective teams.
Throughout the program, interns gained practical exposure across several key functions at JTI Egypt, including IT, Internal Communication, Production, Building and Utility, and Manufacturing Services.
Working alongside experienced professionals, they had the opportunity to engage with day-to-day activities, observe business operations firsthand, and understand how their academic specializations translate into practical workplace applications. The experience also helped them strengthen essential professional skills, including communication, collaboration, and teamwork.
