Fort Capital Group Participates in SIAL Paris 2026 with Its Brand “Fregy’s” to Strengthen the Presence of Egyptian Products in Global Markets
Fort Capital Group, a leading producer of frozen pre-fried French fries, announced that its brand “Fregy’s” is participating in “SIAL Paris 2026,” one of the leading international exhibitions specializing in the food industry. Held in Paris from 17 to 21 October 2026, the exhibition showcases Fregy’s products at a dedicated booth, as part of its strategy to boost exports and expand its presence in global markets.
The participation builds on Fort Capital Group’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its production and export capabilities and capitalize on growing demand for processed food products. The Group is Egypt’s second-largest exporter of French fries and ranks 14th among F&B exporters, with its products reaching more than 18 international markets.
Tamer Mosalam, Co-Founder and Vice Chairman of Fort Capital Group, said: “Our participation in SIAL Paris represents an important step in our strategy to expand globally and strengthen our exports of Egyptian food products. We aim to leverage this participation to open up new opportunities for cooperation with international partners and broaden the reach of Fregy’s products into new markets, building on the quality of Egyptian products and our manufacturing capabilities and competitiveness.”
As part of its expansion plans, the Group intends to invest up to USD 250 million in establishing a new industrial complex in Ain Sokhna, comprising production lines for frozen pre-fried French fries and specialized food products. The first phase is expected to have an annual production capacity of 150,000 tonnes, with the Group targeting an increase in total annual output to approximately 600,000 tonnes of finished products by 2032. This will support its ambition to strengthen its position among the leading processed potato producers in the Middle East.
Fregy’s participation in “SIAL Paris 2026” underscores Fort Capital Group’s commitment to continued investment in its production capabilities and to enhancing the competitiveness of its products in global markets. By combining industrial expansion with export growth, the Group aims to consolidate its position as one of the region’s leading producers of pre-fried French fries and contribute to strengthening the presence of Egyptian food products on the international stage.
